Wonderful Meeting
That was a really good meeting with an alumni - Mr Thomas Yuen - the coach of Gary (Gary, now I realized how lucky you for the whole last year). I reckon that people who are coaches love to talk to people, love to hear about what others say. Yes, we had an two hour meeting, and I feel that most of the time I'm doing the talking (which is quite abnormal when you have meeting with senior people), and I felt so good about it. OK, I admit, I find satisfaction through non-stop talking about myself, my opinion, bla bla bla, esp. when people "seem" to be interested in what I'm talking about.
And how Thomas looked when he is reminiscing the days he had in Poland. He looked extremely satisfied, and he's so thankful to the great hospitality by a Polish family. He seemed a bit serious and told me: "Poland to me is a very special place, I could not forget it, but I have not been there for a long time. So, tell me, how is Poland now?" It's a tough question to be to just describe Poland in general, given the fact that I did not do any travelling around... but I talked a bit... and at least I could talk about the airport... ^^"" (Nadya said probably he had romance there... haha)
Anyway, he could really grasp what kind of person I am (maybe I'm too easy to understand) - he said - 你係一個感情的動物 (odd translation "You're an emotional animal"... anyway, nevermind the English part...) Anyway, just 2 hour talk, it seemed that I'm a good old friend of him. We talked from secondary school to AIESEC, from Poland to Latin America, from career choice to personality test, and for sure something about his company. YEAH, It's so great to meet him!!!
